This dynamic role is ideal for someone who enjoys a good challenge, likes engaging with people, and takes ownership and pride in their work keeping the end result in mind. This person will lead to the expansion of revenue for the company, which is now expanding across India.

As a Relationship Consultant you will serve as the primary point of contact (POC) for our premium members. Acting as both a matchmaker and relationship counsellor, this individual will guide clients through their matchmaking experience with empathy, insight, and professionalism. You'll analyze each client's personality, preferences, and relationship patterns using psychological frameworks to suggest compatible matches. Beyond matchmaking, you'll counsel and coach clients to develop self-awareness, relationship readiness, and communication skills that foster authentic connections.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's/ Master's from a Tier 1 institute (preferred)
  • 3-5 years of experience working in client facing roles with experience in counseling, relationship building
  • Background in psychology, counselling, social work, or relationship coaching
  • Experience in matchmaking, client management, or coaching roles
  • Strong empathy, active listening, and communication skills
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret personality traits and compatibility cues
  • Excellent organizational and follow-up skills

Key Responsibilities:

1.Needs Assessment

  • Conduct in-depth consultations with clients to understand their expectations and requirements in a compatible relationship.
  • Utilize active listening skills to gather crucial information about clients values, preferences, and aspirations.
  • Assess and understand clients partner preferences, personal histories, cultural and family backgrounds, communication styles, and long-term relationship goals to provide tailored guidance and compatibility insights.

2.Matchmaking

  • Conduct in-depth client assessments using psychological tools, interviews, and compatibility frameworks.
  • Analyze personality traits, values, communication styles, and emotional needs to identify compatibility factors.
  • Curate and recommend matches based on holistic understanding of clients preferences and relationship goals.
  • You have to be a part of their journey from the very first onboarding callunderstanding who they are, what they value, and what they seek to shortlisting and presenting potential matches, guiding them thoughtfully through each interaction, helping them navigate conversations, expectations, and decisions, and ultimately supporting them right until they find the right partner and move towards marriage.

3.Counselling & Coaching

  • Offer constructive feedback and emotional support throughout the matchmaking journey.
  • Help clients reflect on their experiences and grow through the process of finding the right partner.

4.Reporting & Collaboration

  • Maintain detailed and confidential records of all client interactions, sessions, and match outcomes.
  • Share regular progress reports with internal teams & clients for better matchmaking precision.
  • Stay updated on relationship psychology, dating trends, and coaching methodologies.

Location/Work Environment:

The Vatika Triangle; Gurgaon, India.

  • We have built a creative space in a top corporate building in a prime location in Gurgaon. The office is on M.G. Road, a 2-minute walk from the M.G. Road Metro Station.
  • Our team consists of creative and colorful characters, all goal-oriented and hungry for growth (and healthy snacks). The work environment is a mixture of formal and playful, as we all strive to get things done while sipping Italian coffee brewed in-house.
