Counselling & Psychological Services:
- Provide individual and group counselling to students and staff facing emotional, behavioural, academic, or interpersonal challenges.
- Conduct psychological assessments, screenings, and risk evaluations where required.
- Offer crisis intervention and immediate support in emergency situations.
- Maintain accurate, confidential records in compliance with ethical standards.
Preventive & Developmental Interventions:
- Design and conduct workshops on stress management, emotional intelligence, resilience, exam anxiety, relationship management, and related themes.
- Develop mental health awareness campaigns aligned with the academic calendar.
- Promote preventive mental health practices across campus.
Student Support & Coordination:
- Collaborate with faculty, programme coordinators, and student affairs teams to identify and support at-risk students.
- Recommend structured support plans where needed.
- Coordinate referrals to external mental health professionals or institutions in complex cases.
Policy & Institutional Contribution:
- Assist in strengthening institutional mental health policies and response protocols.
- Contribute to building a structured campus wellbeing framework.
- Maintain professional standards in alignment with regulatory and ethical guidelines.
Qualification:
- Relevant professional qualification and RCI registration is mandatory
Required Experience
- Minimum of 3 years of counselling experience in a university or educational institution.
