We're looking for Psychologists to join us at a premier institute in West Bengal, as part of a structured student wellness initiative. This is a unique opportunity to combine counseling expertise with proactive engagement, and help foster a culture of openness, empathy, and resilience on campus.
What You'll Get to Do
- Provide overnight mental health support on a rotational basis.
- Conduct in-person counseling sessions in student hostels
- Facilitate walk-in sessions and manage student appointments through the YourDOST portal.
- Undertake floor walks in hostels (along with Wellness Champions) to build visibility, accessibility, and trust with students.
- Maintain timely case notes, records, and reports while upholding strict confidentiality and ethical standards.
- Collaborate with the team to run awareness drives, workshops, and well-being campaigns across campus.
You Should Apply If You:
- Hold a Master's degree in Clinical Psychology or Counseling Psychology (mandatory) or Mphill in Clinical Psychology.
- Have experience (or strong interest) in working with youth/academic mental health.
- Possess strong interpersonal skills and the ability to engage with students in an empathetic, approachable way.
- Are comfortable with flexible working hours, including night shifts.
- Are fluent in English and Hindi (knowledge of Bengali is a plus!).
- Willing to stay on campus
