Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Psychiatrist based in Amritsar. The Psychiatrist will provide expert psychiatric care, including diagnosing and treating mental health and substance use disorders. Responsibilities include managing cases related to adolescent psychiatry, developing tailored treatment plans, supporting patients in their recovery journey, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care. The role also involves monitoring patient progress, maintaining detailed records, and providing guidance to families.

Qualifications
  • Expertise in Psychiatry and Psychiatric Care with the ability to diagnose and treat mental health and addiction-related disorders.
  • Knowledge and experience in Adolescent Psychiatry with a strong understanding of age-specific challenges.
  • Skills in Medicine and Mental Health with a focus on holistic patient care and rehabilitation strategies.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to support patients and collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team.
  • Doctoral degree in Psychiatry or Mental Health and valid licensure to practice medicine.
  • Experience in addiction treatment and rehabilitation is highly preferred.
  • Empathy, cultural sensitivity, and commitment to patient-centered care.
