Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role based in Patna as a Psychiatric Social Worker. The Psychiatric Social Worker will provide mental health support, develop and implement treatment plans, and deliver behavioral health interventions. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting assessments, offering case management services, and closely collaborating with other healthcare providers to support individuals and families. The role emphasizes advocacy and intervention to support the mental and emotional well-being of clients.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Treatment Planning, including tailoring individualized plans to meet the unique needs of clients.
- Strong skills in Social Work and Case Management to provide comprehensive services and coordinate resources effectively.
- Experience in Mental Health and Behavioral Health, with a deep understanding of therapeutic approaches and psycho-social interventions.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build trust and rapport with diverse clients and multidisciplinary teams.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field, with a focus on mental health services.
- Licensure or certification in social work or mental health counseling will be an added advantage.
- Empathy, problem-solving capabilities, and the ability to handle sensitive and confidential situations.
- Familiarity with the socio-cultural context and community challenges in the Patna area is a plus.
