PRT Maths Teachers

Job Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and ageappropriate mathematics lessons to primary students.
• Design and implement lesson plans that align with the school's curriculum standards and learning outcomes.
• Assess student progress through formative and summative evaluations, providing timely feedback.
• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity and critical thinking.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers, counselors, and administrators to support holistic student development.
• Participate in cocurricular and extracurricular activities, including math clubs, competitions, and school events.
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and student performance as per school policies.
• Engage with parents and guardians through regular communication, parentteacher meetings, and progress reports.
• Continually update teaching methodologies by attending professional development workshops and training sessions.

Essential Qualifications

• Graduate degree in Mathematics, Elementary Education, or a related field (B.Ed. or B.Sc. with a focus on Mathematics).
• Valid teaching certification/licensure as per Madhya Pradesh state regulations.
• Strong command of English and Hindi for effective classroom instruction.
• Demonstrated ability to simplify complex mathematical concepts for young learners.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.

Desired Experience

• Minimum 2–3 years of teaching experience at the primary or preprimary level, preferably in a coeducational setting.
• Experience with modern pedagogical tools, digital learning platforms, and interactive teaching aids.
• Track record of contributing to school initiatives, such as science fairs, math Olympiads, or extracurricular clubs.
