PRT Mathematics Teacher

We invites applications from enthusiastic and qualified professionals for the position of PRT Mathematics Teacher for Classes 1 and 2. The teacher will be responsible for developing strong foundational math skills through interactive and activity-based teaching suited to early learners.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach Mathematics in alignment with the CBSE curriculum to students of Classes 1 and 2.
• Design engaging and age-appropriate lessons that build numeracy skills.
• Use hands-on tools, visuals, and real-life examples to explain concepts.
• Create a positive, encouraging, and interactive classroom environment.
• Evaluate student understanding and provide timely feedback.
• Collaborate with fellow educators and participate in school activities and training programs.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree (preferably in Mathematics or a related field)
• D.Ed./B.Ed. or equivalent teacher training qualification (mandatory)
• 12 years of teaching experience at the primary level preferred
• Strong communication skills in English and basic understanding of child psychology
• Familiarity with CBSE curriculum is an advantage

Skills Required:

• Passion for teaching young children
• Ability to explain mathematical concepts in a simplified and engaging manner
• Classroom management and creative instruction skills
• Basic digital tool proficiency (smartboards, PowerPoint, etc.)

Compensation & Benefits:

• Salary: 35,000/month
• Bond: 2 to 3 years mandatory
• Accommodation: Shared accommodation for female staff available
• HRA: Up to 5,000 if accommodation is not taken
• Meals: Meals (breakfast, lunch, and evening snacks) are provided by the school. Dinner arrangements must be made by the candidate.
