The PRT Life Skill Teacher plays a crucial role in shaping the holistic development of students, fostering essential life skills that contribute to their personal and academic growth. In This Role, You Will

  • Graduation/Masters preferred in English.
  • Design and implement engaging life skills curricula that align with CBSE standards, ensuring relevance and effectiveness in student learning.
  • Facilitate interactive workshops and activities that promote teamwork, problem-solving, and decision-making among students.
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their personal development and academic performance.
  • Collaborate with fellow educators to integrate life skills education across various subjects, enhancing the overall learning experience.
  • Organize and participate in school events that promote life skills, such as community service projects and leadership camps.
  • Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and fosters respect for diversity.
  • Stay updated on the latest educational trends and methodologies in life skills education, incorporating innovative practices into your teaching.
  • Engage with parents and guardians to communicate student progress and the importance of life skills in their overall development.
  • Support students in setting personal goals and developing action plans to achieve them, fostering a sense of responsibility and self-motivation.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the school's life skills program through feedback and collaboration with the administration.

To excel in this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field, with a focus on life skills or social-emotional learning.
  • Experience in teaching or facilitating life skills programs, preferably in a CBSE school environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with students and foster a supportive learning atmosphere.
  • Proficiency in developing engaging lesson plans and educational materials tailored to diverse learning needs.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to a positive team culture.
  • Knowledge of assessment tools and techniques to evaluate student progress in life skills development.
  • Passion for student development and a commitment to fostering a growth mindset among learners.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Familiarity with current educational technologies and their application in enhancing life skills education.
  • Certification in life skills training or related professional development is a plus.
