Your Role
As a Prospector, you are the Front-line Hunter of our global purchasing pipeline. You will use market insights to scan leads, qualify suppliers, and initiate relationships to open new doors for our global buying process. This role offers a clear career path to becoming an International Buyer.
Key Responsibilities
- Market Prospecting: Identify new suppliers via the internet, trade fairs, magazines, and international databases.
- Supplier Assessment: Evaluate potential suppliers based on cost, time, quality, and reliability.
- Compliance: Ensure products meet quality standards and target market regulations.
- Collaboration: Partner with International Buyers to facilitate orders and ensure project deadlines are met.
- Data Management: Build and maintain qualified supplier files for the global database.
Requirements
- Experience:Minimum 6 months of experience in Sales, Business Development, Procurement, or Sourcing.
- Languages: Must be proficient in Hindi, English, and Bengali.
- Skills: Basic proficiency in MS Excel and Word.
- Preference:Immediate joiners are highly preferred.
