We are seeking an experienced, creative and energetic Proposal Writer to support proposal and technical writing/editing efforts. The candidate should be self-motivated, work with a purpose and possess excellent written and oral communication skills, and ability to collaborate with key people across the company.

Requirements

Leverage previous proposals to provide quality outlines/drafts to the marketing team.

Ability to write content based on input from SMEs and Marketing/Technical leads and edit written material to ensure compliance and continuity.

Attend BD meetings and maintain the proposal schedule for all proposals to ensure proper coverage of proposals.

Candidate should have an objective eye to ensure response is compliant and not just meeting a page count requirements.

Manage multiple proposal responses concurrently as needed.

The Technical/Proposal Writer will be responsible for defined work with moderate complexity.

The candidate should be able to review RFP/technical requirements and assist in developing and writing corresponding technical solutions.

Experience supporting proposal efforts related to commercial sector IT RFI, RFP and RFQ's.

The work is client deadline driven and may require working hours outside of regular business hours to support proposal production efforts.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's Degree from an accredited university or college (with a minimum of 3-4 years of experience in technical writing and/or IT industry).

Bachelor's degree in IT, communications, journalism, marketing or related field.

Strong oral and written communication skills

Strong interpersonal and leadership skills

Strong skills and knowledge using Microsoft Office applications.

Strong organizational and project execution skills and prior success in working with cross-functional teams is a plus.

Ability to manage time and work on multiple proposals

Technical/Proposal experience is a plus
