Proposal Writer

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Proposal Writer based in India.

This role is responsible for developing high-quality proposal content for Oracle Cloud solutions across RFIs, RFPs, and oral presentations.

You will manage and organize technical content, supporting materials, and diagrams while ensuring accuracy and consistency.

Working closely with capture management and delivery teams, you will tailor content to specific client opportunities and requirements.

You will also help define and document new Oracle Cloud services and differentiated solutions for future proposals.

A strong focus on process adherence, editorial quality, and internal review milestones will be essential to success.

The role offers an opportunity to combine technical writing, SaaS expertise, collaboration, and project coordination in a proposal-focused environment.

Accountabilities

• Develop, curate, and maintain accurate, consistent, and compelling proposal content and supporting materials for Oracle Cloud solutions.
• Create and refine content for RFIs, RFPs, oral presentations, technical sales materials, and opportunity-specific deliverables.
• Collaborate with capture management teams to develop and deliver current, relevant, and tailored proposal and oral presentation content, including Oracle Cloud diagrams and technical materials.
• Partner with delivery teams to define and draft content for new Oracle Cloud services and differentiated solutions for upcoming proposals.
• Ensure proposal content, graphics, and supporting materials follow established review processes, internal milestones, and quality standards.
• Organize and maintain proposal content and final deliverables in Microsoft Teams for easy access and reuse.
• Coordinate multiple content priorities and deadlines while maintaining a high standard of quality, accuracy, and organization.
  
  

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in content management, proposal writing, technical sales writing, or a related field.
• Direct technical writing experience focused on Oracle Cloud solutions is required.
• Direct experience developing SaaS proposals or hands-on experience as a SaaS implementer is required.
• Experience supporting proposals for State, Local Government, Higher Education, or Federal clients is highly desirable.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Journalism, English, Marketing, or a related field with a strong writing focus.
• Strong understanding of SaaS terminology and industry practices, with experience in HCM and ERP systems preferred, particularly within the public sector and Oracle Cloud environments.
• Exceptional written English skills, including proofreading, editing, and developing persuasive technical sales content.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat, with familiarity with proposal automation tools, AI-driven solutions, and content databases.
• Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines, priorities, and stakeholders effectively.
