Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Proposal Engineer to join our dynamic team in the oil and gas industry. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in preparing comprehensive proposals and accurate cost estimates for various projects within the sector. This position requires a deep understanding of oil and gas engineering, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities:

Proposal Development:

• Analyze project requirements and specifications to develop detailed and competitive proposals.
• Collaborate with technical teams to gather relevant information for proposal content.
• Ensure proposals align with client expectations, industry standards, and company capabilities.
• Develop and maintain a repository of proposal templates, case studies, and reference materials.

Bid Management:

• Manage the entire bid process, including the review of bid documents, clarification of queries, and coordination with various stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, and other partners to ensure competitive pricing.
• Analyze and mitigate risks associated with project bids.

Technical Expertise:

• Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
• Provide technical support during the proposal and estimation process.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to understand project complexities and incorporate technical details into proposals and estimates.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, preferably in Mechanical, Chemical, or Petroleum Engineering.
• Proven experience in proposal and estimation roles within the oil and gas industry.
• Strong knowledge of oil and gas engineering principles, processes, and equipment.
• Proficient in estimation software and tools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Familiarity with industry standards and regulations.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in estimating project costs.
• Ability to manage multiple proposals and estimates simultaneously.
