Proposal Engineer

Educational Qualification – B.E./B.Tech – Mechanical Engg / Electrical / Civil

Job Location – Kolkata

Experience – 3-7 yrs

Preferred industry – Design & Engg / EPCM organization related to Industrial Projects/ Minerals & Metals / Power Plant / FMCG / Pharma

Brief Job Description – Shall be able to perform / develop the following:

· Understanding the RFP and client's requirements

· Preparation of Go / No-Go (Bid / No Bid) for each proposal

· Coordinating with various internal stakeholders in compiling the pre-bid queries.

· Coordinating with various internal stakeholders in preparation / compilation of technical proposal and commercial proposal.

· Handling post-bid clarifications - Follow up with client on bid status

· Identify new business opportunities & leads in EPCM projects

· Travel to various client offices (based on requirement) & explain & make a presentation to client on Meinhardt Capabilities

· Follow up with client on the proposal status

· Convert the leads into order for Meinhardt

· Build long term business relationship with client

SKILL SET & ATTRIBUTES

- Familiarity with design and engineering / EPCM project workflow

- Understanding of the contractual terms and conditions (technical and commercial)

- Proficient with MS office (Word, excel, power point)

- Power BI (Preferred)

- Excellent verbal and written communication in English and Hindi

- Self-Motivated and result oriented

- Shall be willing to travel (25%)
