Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Bengaluru for a Proposal and Design Manager. The role involves preparing detailed technical proposals and designs for water treatment and filtration systems, collaborating with clients and internal teams to ensure project requirements are met. Responsibilities include conducting feasibility analysis, coordinating with suppliers and vendors, adhering to project timelines, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and environmental regulations.

We are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer with strong experience in EPC projects, specifically in STP, UF, and RO systems. The ideal candidate is comfortable working with multiple stakeholders, visiting sites, and translating requirements into precise engineering designs and drawings.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead design and engineering of EPC projects through discussions with customers, site visits, and coordination with internal stakeholders and management.
• Develop mechanical designs for STP, UF & RO systems with a solid understanding of process and instrumentation.
• Prepare and review P&ID (Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams), PFA (Process Flow Diagrams), pipeline layouts, and related engineering documentation.
• Create and modify 2D and 3D drawings for project execution.
• Ensure designs comply with project specifications, industry standards, and safety requirements.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in mechanical design for EPC projects, preferably in water/wastewater treatment (STP, UF, RO).
• Strong knowledge of process and instrumentation for treatment systems.
• Proficiency in preparing P&ID, PFA, and pipeline design.
• Hands-on experience with 2D & 3D CAD software.
• Good communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with customers, site teams, and management.

Compensation

• CTC: 1012 LPA, based on experience and skills.
