Prophet Modelling - Actuarial Senior

Role Overview: The modelling senior analyst supports the development and migration of actuarial models, ensuring accurate calculations and timely project delivery

Key Responsibilities

1. ∙ Lead the Prophet migration project and manage its timeline and deliverables
2. ∙ Design and develop coding to meet local and Client requirements (including real world, risk neutral, and US GAAP calculations)
3. ∙ Prepare and review impact analysis between old and new models with thorough investigation and explanations
4. ∙ Lead and manage the development of functional check spreadsheets to validate calculation functionalities in the new model
5. ∙ Support local country teams on dry runs and UATs
6. ∙ Manage and support model change work performed by local entities
7. ∙ Support regional projects like US GAAP LDTI and IFRS17 to ensure the new model meets future requirements

Qualification Required :

1. ∙ Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mathematics, Actuarial Science or Statistics.
2. ∙ 8 - 10 exams from recognized actuarial institute and 10+ years of relevant experience.
3. ∙ In-depth knowledge of USGAAP (LDTI), Pricing and Experience studies.
4. ∙ Proficiency in Prophet, or similar Actuarial software is highly desirable.
5. ∙ Strong data analytics skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.
6. ∙ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
7. ∙ Prior experience with R or Python is must.
8. ∙ Proficiency in MS Excel and other office applications.
