Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Property Accountant Manager located in Gurugram. The successful candidate will oversee the preparation and review of financial statements, perform financial analyses, ensure accurate and timely journal entries, and manage accounting for fixed assets. They will collaborate closely with internal teams to address accounting and finance needs and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and internal standards.

Qualifications

* 2+ years of Property Accounting experience

* CAM reconciliation & month-end close experience

* Knowledge of US GAAP

* Yardi preferred; MRI/AppFolio/QuickBooks/NetSuite a plus

* Advanced Excel skills

* Strong communication & analytical skills

* Detail-oriented with ownership mindset

* CA / B.Com / M.Com preferred

Key Responsibilities – Property Accountant

* Manage full-cycle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

* Perform CAM (Common Area Maintenance) reconciliations and year-end true-ups

* Handle bank reconciliations and cash management activities

* Prepare and manage month-end close processes within required timelines

* Prepare financial statements and supporting schedules

* Maintain T12 reports and rent rolls accurately

* Manage lease accounting and tenant billing processes

* Conduct variance analysis and NOI reporting

* Support audit preparation and year-end financial reporting

* Ensure compliance with US GAAP accounting standards

* Work closely with finance leadership on portfolio reporting and accounting operations
