Job Description

MRI Software is seeking a Property Accountantto join our team! This individual will prepare monthly financial statements for commercial and residential management clients.

Responsibilities:

Reconcile bank statements
Post tenant receipts
Post journal entries
Analyse balance sheet and income statements for unusual activity and report to client
Produce financial statement reports and submit to owner/management company
Maintain open line of communication with clients at all times

Skills and other requirements:

2-5 years experience as a property accountant with commercial or residential management company
Experience using MRI Software applications a plus
Ability to communicate effectively with clients, peers, and management through written and/or verbal communication
Ability to work independently
Ability to work under deadlines
Good organisational skills and the ability to manage priorities
A high degree of dependability, motivation and flexibility
Bachelor's degree
