Position Overview
MRI Software is seeking a
Property Accountant II to join our team! This individual will prepare monthly financial statements for commercial and residential management clients.
Responsibilities
- Reconcile bank statements
- Post tenant receipts
- Post journal entries
- Analyse balance sheet and income statements for unusual activity and report to client
- Produce financial statement reports and submit to owner/management company
- Maintain open line of communication with clients at all times
Skills And Other Requirements
- 2-4 years experience as a property accountant with commercial or residential management company
- Experience using MRI Software applications a plus
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients, peers, and management through written and/or verbal communication
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to work under deadlines
- Good organisational skills and the ability to manage priorities
- A high degree of dependability, motivation and flexibility
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Business Management or related field; Masters preferred and/or relevant qualification and/or relevant experience
