Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Proofreader and QC professional, located in Mumbai. The role involves reviewing and identifying errors in spelling, grammar, and translation while ensuring the highest levels of communication accuracy. Responsibilities include thorough proofreading of content to meet quality control standards and collaborating with the team to maintain consistent quality across all deliverables.

Job description

• Doing a proper pre-flight of each type of job and creating a checklist for the same
• Proofread and review documents packaging artwork on paper as well as online.
• Ensure accuracy & consistency across all materials.
• Check alignment with style guides, branding guidelines, highlight inconsistencies and propose corrections.
• Ensure text is free of typographical, formatting, or translation errors.
• Maintain version control and track changes as per company SOPs.
• Work closely with artwork specialists to ensure timely error-free output.
• Support process improvement by identifying recurring issues and suggesting preventive measures.
• Quality checking the final deliverables.

Skills required:

• Graduation, B.Sc. Chemistry would be preferred
• Good knowledge in Style Checking
• Familiarity with Pharma regulatory / technical terminology preferred
• Proficiency in MS Office, Adobe Acrobat, and proofreading tools
• Good eye for detail and grammatical accuracy the position.
• Experience: 2-3 years proofreading / quality control
• Knowledge of Urdu/Arabic will be added advantage.
