Job Overview:

We are looking to hire an Associate with a strong background in project development, energy law, and infrastructure transactions. The ideal candidate will work across a broad spectrum of sectors including renewable energy, conventional power, oil & gas, transportation, urban infrastructure, and utilities.

The role involves working closely with partners and clients on high-value, cross-border and domestic projectsright from development through financing, construction, and operation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range of project and commercial contracts, including:
  • Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs)
  • Concession and License Agreements
  • EPC, O&M, and Supply Agreements
  • Fuel Supply and Transmission Agreements
  • Government approvals and bid documents
  • Advising clients on regulatory, land acquisition, environmental and sector-specific laws (e.g., Electricity Act, PPP frameworks, RERA, SEZ regulations).
  • Supporting project finance transactions, including due diligence, structuring, and negotiation of financing and security documents.
  • Advising both public and private sector clients including developers, financial institutions, government authorities, EPC contractors, and investors.
  • Coordinating with internal teams (banking, real estate, dispute resolution) on multi-disciplinary matters.
  • Assisting in business development activities including client pitches, industry research, and knowledge publications.
  • Keeping up to date with evolving regulatory frameworks, government policies, and sectoral reforms.
