Projects and OEM Sales

Summary:

Field Sales is responsible for building a strong understanding of customer needs and provides

solutions to potential customers by scanning, visiting and studying plant processes. This is a

customer centric role that works on establishing strong connect with the customers so as to enable a long sustainable relationship.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

● Experience in selling boilers, steam accessories, engineering equipment

● Experience with greenfield projects, OEMs, Contractors

● Selling based on benefits

● Capturing the information systematically in the report and format

● Getting leads from Consultants and sources about projects and working with them on specifications

● Mapping competition activity

● Analysis of Market trends in his territory, potential of Business, Business plans, Strive to achieve

individual and organization targets quarterly & yearly

● Defining decision making hierarchy at customers end

● Submitting proposals in line with potential and getting systematic repeated business at OEMs,

Contractors

● Focus on high quality business

● Documenting benefits for customers

● Completing the sales cycle of generating leads, offer making, getting orders, commissioning help

and documentation, payment collection

Goals:

Responsible for effective coverage of OEM&, Contractors, Handling Green field projects, 10-12

Contractors and 5 consultants across

Technical Skills/Competencies:

● Customer relationship building and maintaining (Rapport Building)

● Observation skill (with Objective)

● Competence to derive the solution & conviction to drive initiatives

● Selling and Negotiation Skills

● Knowledge about boilers and steam accessories

● Self-starter and owns the business development

● Communication skills and ability to get along with people

● Initiative and ambition to grow
