About The Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Transportation Planner to join our Transportation Team in Gurgaon . The ideal candidate will bring expertise in transport modelling and traffic simulation , along with a passion for creating sustainable and efficient mobility solutions. You will be a part of a collaborative, innovative, and driven team dedicated to shaping future-ready transport infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and calibrate transport models using tools such as VISUM, VISSIM, CUBE, Aimsun, TransCAD, or Saturn .
- Conduct traffic simulation studies to evaluate roadway performance, traffic management schemes, and infrastructure changes.
- Interpret and analyze transport data to support the development of multi-modal transport solutions.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and technical documents to communicate analysis findings to stakeholders.
- Support transport planning projects including feasibility studies, master plans, and mobility assessments.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including urban planners, engineers, and environmental consultants.
- Assist in proposal development and business development initiatives, when required.
Qualifications
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Master's in Transport Planning / Transport Engineering with preferably B Tech or B Plan as background.
- 5-8 years of relevant experience in transport modelling and traffic simulation .
- Proficiency in one or more of the following software VISUM, VISSIM, Aimsun, CUBE, TransCAD, Synchro, Emme, Saturn .
- Strong analytical skills and experience in data handling using Excel, Python, or GIS tools (ArcGIS/QGIS) is an advantage.
- Good understanding of transport policies, planning processes, and urban mobility concepts.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and within a team-oriented environment.
