Job Description – Project Supervisor (Retail Store Expansion)

Through personalized consultations, we identify the root cause of hair fall using a combination of Ayurveda, Allopathy, and Nutrition. Our unique diagnostic platform, combined with medically trained hair coaches and proprietary tech, ensures customers receive customized solutions delivered right to their doorstep — and the ongoing guidance they need to stay on track.
Founded by Saloni Anand (techie-turned-marketeer) and Altaf Saiyed (Stanford GSB alumnus), Traya's mission is to de-stigmatize hair loss, address its emotional and psychological impact, and make effective treatment accessible to all.

Role Objective
End-to-end ownership of retail store execution—from site readiness to store
launch—ensuring timelines, quality, and cost adherence across multiple locations.
Key Responsibilities
1. Drawings & BOQ Understanding
- Interpret architectural drawings, layouts, and BOQ
- Ensure execution as per approved design and specifications
2.Architect & Design Coordination
- Raise and resolve design queries with architects
- Clearly communicate drawings and changes to site teams
3. Site Execution & Measurement
- Verify on-site measurements and ensure accuracy
- Monitor execution quality and adherence to standards
4. Vendor & Contractor Management
- Coordinate with contractors and vendors for smooth execution
- Validate work completion and cross-check vendor billing with site progress
5. Landlord / Mall / Authority Coordination
- Manage permissions, approvals, and site dependencies
- Ensure compliance with landlord/mall guidelines and working conditions
6. Timeline Planning & Tracking
- Prepare and track detailed project timelines
- Proactively address delays and ensure on-time delivery
7. Multi-Site Management
- Handle multiple store projects simultaneously within the city
- Maintain consistent progress, quality, and reporting across sites
8. Material Planning
- Ensure timely availability of materials and branding elements at site
- Flag shortages or delays in advance
9. Store Handover & Launch Readiness
- Ensure store is fully ready for operations (branding, lighting, utilities, cleanliness)
- Close all snags before handover to operations team
10. Maintenance Coordination
- Address post-launch maintenance issues raised by operations
- Coordinate with vendors for timely resolution
11. Sample Development & Quality Control
- Participate in new store/sample development
- Review and standardize quality before scale rollout
12. Reporting & Communication
- Share daily progress reports and site updates
- Send regular site photographs via WhatsApp for tracking and transparency
13. Risk & Escalation Management
- Identify and escalate red flags or deviations proactively
- Ensure quick resolution to avoid project impact
14. Travel Flexibility
- Open to travel outside the city based on project requirements
Education
- Any graduate (e.g., B.Com, BBA, etc.) can apply
- Preferred: Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering, Interior Design, or Architecture
- Candidates with strong hands-on experience in retail/site execution will be
prioritized regardless of qualification
Language Requirement
- Proficiency in Kannada and Hindi (spoken)
- Basic English reading and writing skills required for reporting and coordination
Requirements
- 2–5 years experience in retail / interior / site supervision
- Must have handled multiple retail store openings
- Strong vendor coordination and execution skills
- Ability to manage multiple sites simultaneously
- High ownership and problem-solving mindset
- Based in Bangalore (local candidate preferred)
