Job Summary
The AV Project Lead is responsible for end-to-end delivery of Audio Visual projects, ensuring scope, schedule, cost, quality, and client satisfaction are met. This role acts as the single point of contact between clients, internal teams, OEMs, and subcontractors, leading project execution from design validation through commissioning and final handover.
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & Execution
- Lead AV projects from kickoff to closure, procurement, installation, testing, and handover.
- Prepare and manage project plans, schedules, method statements, and risk registers.
- Ensure adherence to approved drawings, BOQs, standards, and OEM guidelines.
- Track milestones and proactively mitigate risks.
- Remote project support for APAC Region
- Travel onsite for projects kick -off within India
Technical
- Lead system integration, configuration, testing, and commissioning.
- Support troubleshooting and resolution of complex technical issues.
Stakeholder & Client Management
- Act as the primary interface with clients, consultants, PMCs, and facility teams.
- Conduct progress meetings and provide regular project updates.
- Manage scope changes with proper approvals and documentation.
Vendor & Procurement Coordination
- Coordinate with Procurement, OEMs and suppliers for material ordering and delivery.
- Validate technical data sheets, shop drawings, and compliance documents.
- Manage subcontractors and ensure quality workmanship.
Quality, Safety & Compliance
- Ensure installations meet specifications, safety norms, and site regulations.
Financial & Commercial Control
- Monitor project budgets, variations, and cost forecasts.
- Validate invoices and track billing milestones.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of enterprise AV systems and integration.
- Hands-on experience with VC platforms and control systems.
- Excellent project management and communication skills.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Electronics, Electrical, IT, or related field.
- 3 years of AV industry experience, with at least 1 year in a project lead role.
- PMP/Prince2 and OEM
