Manage international procurement activities in support of US-based projects, ensuring compliance with project requirements, budgets, schedules, and quality standards while collaborating with engineering and project teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish project procurement procedures aligned with company work methods to meet client and project deliverables.
- Execute procurement activities ensuring safety, regulatory compliance, quality, schedule, and budget adherence.
- Identify and resolve procurement issues, coordinating with the project procurement team as needed.
- Proactively manage changes affecting procurement and supply chain activities.
- Ensure effective communication across project disciplines and collaborate with engineering teams.
- Report issues promptly to Project and Senior Procurement Management.
- Review project status with clients, management, and project leads.
- Build supply chain capabilities, manage resources, and develop procurement team members.
- Oversee supplier management, including bid evaluation, award cycle, contract execution, and commercial strategy.
- Implement cost reduction initiatives and monitor commercial performance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- 10+ years of international procurement project management experience in a global EPC company, preferably in oil & gas, LNG, petrochemical, hydrogen, or chemical industries.
- Experience working with international suppliers, including China, India, Korea, and other low-cost regions.
- Proven track record in cost reduction programs, schedule-driven environments, and managing lump-sum and reimbursable contracts.
- Proficiency in purchasing and subcontract management, commercial negotiations, and execution of agreements.
- Expertise in e-procurement tools (e-bidding, e-auctions) and data analytics (Power BI).
