Project Planning & Scheduling Engineer - Nepal Deputation

Sector: Experience in Industrial project construction is mandatory.

Qualification: BE/B.Tech Mechanical / Civil / Electrical Engg

Job Location: Bhairawaha / Siddharthnagar , Nepal

Reporting to: Resident Construction Manager

Duration of work: approx. 8-12 months (After the project completion, the candidate shall be posted to any other project construction site in India or abroad / any other Meinhardt offices)

- The candidate should have relevant experience in planning and scheduling the various construction activities of industrial projects involving various contractors like – civil, PEB structural, Mechanical, piping, utility, firefighting, electrical, ELV systems and automation systems

- The candidate should be able to assess the predecessor and successor for each activity

- Candidate should be able to prepare L5 level schedule, loaded & mapped with the resources for each activity

- Candidate should be able to integrate the schedule given by the various contractors into the overall master schedule

- Able to work with both MS- Project and Primavera P6

The roles and responsibilities shall include, but not limited to, the following:

· Construction Management: Preparation of daily progress report (package wise), weekly progress report, monthly progress report (for both physical progress and financial progress)

· Give atleast 3 weeks look ahead schedule to the various discipline engineers

· Able to understand the productivity of the resources and arrive at the duration required for each activity

· Monitoring and tracking the schedule

· Daily / weekly updation of the schedule based on the progress

· Ensure the activities in critical path are completed as per schedule and raise an alarm / intimate the stakeholders for any delay with mitigation measures

· Participating in all the meetings at site and preparation, circulation of Minutes of Meetings (MOM)

· Tracking the pending actions against the MOM and intimating it to the contractors

· Overall schedule management of the project

· Preparation of progress measurement sheet with coordination with contractors

· Preparation of S-Curve

· Arranging meeting with the contractors wherever required
