Role Purpose
The Project Coordinator will support the end-to-end execution of renewable energy projects by ensuring effective planning, scheduling, documentation, and cross-functional coordination. The role requires strong project management skills, advanced proficiency in Primavera (P6) or MS Projects, and the ability to manage detailed project controls for large-scale engineering and EPC projects.
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & Scheduling
- Develop, update, and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera (P6) or MS Projects.
- Track progress, forecast timelines, and highlight schedule variances.
- Support the Project Manager in preparing project execution strategies and plans.
Project Coordination & Tracking
- Coordinate with engineering, procurement, construction, site teams, and external stakeholders.
- Maintain action trackers, risk registers, and milestone dashboards.
- Ensure timely follow-up and closure of tasks to keep projects on track.
Reporting & Documentation
- Prepare weekly and monthly project progress reports, dashboards, MIS, and presentations.
- Manage project documentation, approvals, workflows, and governance requirements.
- Ensure all project records are accurate and audit-ready.
Stakeholder Management
- Act as the central coordination point between internal and external stakeholders.
- Support review meetings, MOMs, follow-ups, and escalation management.
- Facilitate data-driven decision-making for project leadership.
Project Controls & Compliance
- Assist in monitoring budgets, resource plans, and cost implications.
- Ensure compliance with HSE, quality, and project governance frameworks.
- Identify risks and prepare mitigation plans in coordination with the project team.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (preferred) or related field.
- 12+ years of experience in project coordination within Renewables, EPC, Infrastructure, or Oil & Gas.
- Strong hands-on experience with Primavera P6 and/or MS Projects.
- Excellent analytical, planning, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint), reporting tools, and documentation practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight project timelines.
