Through its rehabilitation centres, skill development programmes, Sheroes Hangout Cafés, social enterprises and strategic partnerships, the Foundation creates sustainable pathways towards dignity, independence and economic empowerment.
The Pune Project comprises the Sheroes Hangout Café and the Rehabilitation & Skill Development Centre, established with the support of Bajaj Finserv under its CSR initiative. The project serves as an integrated model combining rehabilitation, livelihood generation, hospitality, skill development and community engagement. The Foundation is also actively expanding its partnerships and stakeholder network across Maharashtra.
Position Summary
The Project Operations & Communications Executive will play a central role in ensuring effective coordination, communication and operational support for Chhanv Foundation's Pune Project. The position requires an individual who can seamlessly manage stakeholder communication, project documentation, reporting, operational coordination and partnership engagement while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism.
The Executive will act as the communication bridge between the Pune Project, Head Office, corporate partners, consultants, government departments, vendors and other stakeholders. The role also includes supporting the expansion of strategic collaborations and strengthening the Foundation's presence across Maharashtra.
Key Responsibilities
Project Operations Coordination
- Coordinate day-to-day project operations of the Rehabilitation & Skill Development Centre and Sheroes Hangout Café.
- Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion of operational activities.
- Maintain project trackers, action plans and implementation timelines.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth execution of programmes and activities.
- Assist in resolving operational issues through timely coordination and follow-up.
- Support project planning, execution and review processes.
- Ensure proper documentation of project activities, milestones and operational records.
Communication & Documentation
- Draft and manage professional emails, official letters, meeting notes, reports and presentations.
- Maintain regular communication with corporate partners, consultants, vendors and external agencies.
- Prepare project updates, progress reports, concept notes and official correspondence.
- Maintain organised digital and physical documentation of project records.
- Develop presentations and communication materials for meetings, donor visits and stakeholder engagements.
- Ensure all documentation is accurate, professionally presented and maintained in an organised manner.
Stakeholder Coordination
- Serve as the primary coordination point for project-related communications.
- Coordinate with corporate CSR teams, institutional partners, consultants and vendors.
- Liaise with architects, legal consultants, compliance professionals and technical experts whenever required.
- Coordinate meetings with stakeholders and maintain records of discussions and action points.
- Build and maintain positive working relationships with all project stakeholders.
- Support coordination with local authorities and government departments for project-related matters.
Partnership Development
- Support identification of new partnership opportunities across Maharashtra.
- Assist in preparing proposals, concept notes and presentations for prospective CSR and philanthropic partners.
- Coordinate stakeholder engagement initiatives that strengthen organisational visibility.
- Develop communication strategies for corporate visits, networking events and institutional engagements.
- Support relationship management with existing partners while facilitating new collaborations.
Reporting & Project Management
- Prepare weekly, monthly and quarterly project updates.
- Maintain project dashboards and documentation trackers.
- Coordinate data collection required for donor reporting and internal reviews.
- Ensure timely submission of project reports and supporting documents.
- Maintain records of project achievements, milestones and impact stories.
Compliance & Administrative Support
- Coordinate documentation related to statutory compliances, licences and operational approvals.
- Follow up with consultants and authorities regarding project-related documentation.
- Maintain records of compliance documents, agreements and approvals.
- Support administrative coordination for project operations whenever required.
Representation & External Engagement
- Represent Chhanv Foundation professionally during meetings and stakeholder interactions.
- Coordinate visits of corporate representatives, donors, consultants and institutional partners.
- Support organisation of events, workshops, awareness programmes and stakeholder engagement activities.
- Strengthen Chhanv Foundation's professional network across Maharashtra through effective communication and coordination.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Management, Mass Communication, Public Relations, Social Work or a related discipline.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Strong drafting and documentation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace and presentation software.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously with attention to detail.
Experience
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in project coordination, operations, communications, partnership management or programme implementation.
- Experience in the development sector, CSR, social enterprises or non-profit organisations will be preferred.
- Experience in stakeholder management and professional correspondence is highly desirable.

Compensation & Benefits
• Salary: ₹60,000–₹70,000 per month (Negotiable), based on qualifications, experience and demonstrated capabilities.
