Agilysis is looking for a Project Operations Lead. This is a strategic role that will directly influences project outcomes, client satisfaction, and the day-to-day effectiveness of the delivery team. The individual in this seat will work shoulder-to-shoulder with practice leadership, delivery team, and client stakeholders.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Strategic Workforce Planning & Delivery Visibility
- Own a dynamic two-month capacity forecast, proactively surfacing utilization risks and allocation gaps before they affect delivery timelines or team morale.
- Produce a concise weekly Red/Yellow/Green project health report — consolidating statuses across all active engagements and signaling upcoming completions, transitions, or resourcing pressure points.
Financial Stewardship & Client Accountability
- Work with Accounting team to enforce timesheet submission standards across all employees and contractors — auditing for accuracy, correct time increments, and meaningful project commentary before records reach the Practice Head for approval.
- Build and maintain client-specific budget burn sheets that provide real-time visibility into approved hours consumed, enabling proactive budget conversations and preventing overages.
- Act as the primary liaison between clients and the accounting team for timesheet sign-offs and invoice approvals, ensuring billing cycles remain on schedule and relationships remain friction-free.
Talent Strategy, Development & Organizational Intelligence
- Partner with Practice Head and Managers identify technical training needs — tracking outcomes and aligning curriculum to business priorities and emerging skill gaps.
- Develop and maintain the employee's Workday journey framework, covering career progression pathways, and a continuously updated skill matrix that informs every staffing decision.
- Curate the organization's talent intelligence infrastructure — maintaining a live resume database and an interview question bank, and facilitating rigorous candidate evaluations that assess both technical capability and communication excellence.
Systems Access, Onboarding & Operational Readiness
- Serve as the administrative owner of the new hire technical onboarding, provisioning Workday Community and Learning Centre accounts and orchestrating readiness for project teams.
- Coordinate with IT Team to ensure seamless access to licenses, software, and technical environments for all team members.
Qualifications & Experience
- 3 - 4 years of progressive experience in resource management, delivery operations, workforce planning, or a comparable function within a technology-driven professional services environment.
- Proven track record managing competing priorities with precision, follow-through, and a calm, organized manner
- Strong professional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Proven ability to establish relationships with stakeholders and internal teams.
- Excellent attention to detail and follow-through.
