Job Summary
The Sr. Project Officer is responsible for supporting technical project execution by assisting with planning, documentation, and coordination tasks. The role is closely supervised and involves learning through practical experience.
This job profile is intended for early-career professionals who apply broad theoretical knowledge and require the ability to investigate and analyse problems. Solutions are typically discussed/verified with a more senior member.
This job and its associated grade are specifically aligned with roles that have the following scope of responsibility: Small, Medium organization.
- The Incumbent would be Responsible for Order Processing to Execution, Sales Co-ordination.
- Ensuring efficient and accurate handling of Customer orders/queries/Schedules based on the contract entered in the system.
- Enter all customer order lines in line with the customers requested delivery date, Pending Order Status.
- To monitor the progress and complete execution of an order.
- To be proactive in communication with Supply Chain in the event of shortages and use Supply Chain resource effectively to support customer business efficiency.
- Reporting of deviation of delivery to customer.
- To co-ordinate customer visits and visits of other sales personnel from branches.
Execution of project from customers and organization's point of view within the stipulated time and cost. Ensure timely supplies, Coordinate with QA, Site engineers, Contractors, Order Execution. Get drawing approvals, prepare progress reports.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in preparing project plans, schedules, and reports.
Support project documentation and status tracking.
Conduct basic risk analysis and issue tracking.
Coordinate with team members and stakeholders.
Learn and apply project management tools and techniques
Skills & Qualifications
Typically a University degree (or equivalent work experience) and up to min. 10 years of relevant experience (or equivalent skills) are minimally required to carry out the role.

Strong organizational and communication skills.
Willingness to learn and grow in a project environment.
Attention to detail and time management.
Ability to work under supervision and follow instructions.
