Job Responsibilities:
Overall ownership of monitoring process, strategies, SLA & KPIs.
POC for overall Monitoring Support & Escalation.
Signoff new requirements (Monitoring, Reports, Dashboards Etc.)
Participate in Audits.
Participate in governance calls and meetings with Client Higher Management.
Asses and signoff monitoring scope
Present progress reports, discuss open issues, new initiative in Weekly/Monthly governance calls and meetings with Client Management.
Identify areas for process and service efficiency/improvement in monitoring project
Recommend & prioritized process enhancements and oversee implementation
Help & signoff service management best practices
Oversee & audit service quality and risk
Hands-on experience of troubleshooting production issues
Participate in periodic reporting to Client on the status, issues/ challenges faced and how these are handled.
Act as QA (Checker) for reports and dashboards
Mentor & Motivate team on Storage monitoring aspects
Assessment of missed alerts and signoff plan to close monitoring gaps
Review with management and signoff monitoring & Escalation SOP's
Coordinate Team Hiring and skill development by oversee project relevant trainings, certification and career development.
Additional activities/initiatives to take storage & DC monitoring to next level
Manage team of approx. 15-30 L1/L2/L3 Team members
Requirements
Proven hands-on network/security engineering/administration experience
Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Strong customer service orientation.
Experience working in multi vendor collaborative client side environment.
Excellent communication skills (Verbal/Written)
Excellent documentation skills
Experience of working in a 24*7 environment
Highly self-motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail.
One Certification required ITIL/Prince2/PMP etc..
Solid understanding of Storage (e.g., SAN, NAS, Dark Fiber, Datacenters Storage, Object Storage Cloud Storage, HPC)
Hands-on experience with operational and monitoring storage management/analytics tools (Certification required)
BE/BTech/Sci Graduate / Diploma from State Board
