World Comics India is looking for a Project Manager at Delhi.

About the organization

World Comics India (WCI) is a Delhi-based non-profit organization officially registered in 2002. WCI is working to promote the use of Grassroots Comics as a medium of self-expression and a teaching and learning tool for educators and students alike. Started in the 1990s, WCI has conducted more than 1500 comics workshops across the globe and trained over 1,50,000 common people. The idea was conceptualized almost 20 years ago in India; now, Grassroots Comics is a global peoples movement that provides an alternative communication tool for the community to express their part of the story. World Comics has worked extensively with a wide variety of organizations across the globe, in the fields of health, education, the homeless, gender, girl child rights, HIV/AIDS, the environment, health and hygiene, corporal punishment, media literacy & digital safety, etc.

Qualification and experience:

1. Master's degree in the relevant field

2. 3-5 years of relevant experience

3. Past experience in managing programs.

4. Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to tailor messages for different audiences

5. Experience with educational and community development programs

6. Ready to work in the field with the communities.

Responsibilities:

* Manage Programs and its implementation

* Coordinate between different stakeholders of the project.

* Organise camps, trainings and workshops

* Provide support on timely and quality execution of project and its activities.

* Manage social media handles and also write engaging content for it.

* Managing MIS, creating and editing short video clips, etc.

* Writing project monthly, quarterly and annual reports, case studies, presentations, etc.

* Coordinate with the other field staff and community leaders.

* Other project related responsibilities etc
