Role Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Project Manager to lead and coordinate projects related to space-borne and satellite systems. The ideal candidate should possess strong leadership, planning, and communication skills and will be responsible for driving project execution across cross-functional teams.
This role involves close collaboration with the engineering team, stakeholders, clients, and external advisors. You will play a pivotal role in managing timelines, budgets, risk, and scope while ensuring project goals align with GalaxEye's mission and objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning and execution of space-borne and satellite system projects from initiation to delivery.
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior leadership and technical teams.
- Develop detailed project plans and monitor progress using project management tools.
- Identify and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies.
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for flawless execution.
- Facilitate communication across teams and act as a bridge between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Track project performance, specifically to analyze successful completion of short and long-term goals.
- Provide regular updates to leadership, clients, and other stakeholders.
Requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (B.Tech / B.E) in Engineering or equivalent.
- Master's in Management or equivalent (preferred).
Skills & Requirements
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in project management, preferably in aerospace, satellite, or high-tech engineering domains.
- Exceptional client-facing and internal communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proven experience with project management tools (e.g., Jira, MS Project, Asana, or similar).
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated ability to work methodically and collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with spaceborne or satellite systems is a strong advantage.
