Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager / Delivery Lead with strong expertise in the Banking and Payments domain to lead large-scale payment transformation and delivery initiatives. The ideal candidate should have proven experience managing end-to-end project delivery, stakeholder governance, vendor management, and cross-functional teams within banking environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of banking and payments projects.
• Drive project planning, execution, monitoring, and successful delivery within timelines and budget.
• Manage multiple workstreams, dependencies, risks, issues, and escalations.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, technology teams, vendors, and senior leadership.
• Ensure adherence to project governance, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
• Track project milestones, deliverables, and status reporting to stakeholders.
• Coordinate UAT, production rollout, and post-implementation support activities.
• Manage resource planning, budgeting, and vendor engagement.
• Drive continuous improvement in delivery processes and project execution.

Required Skills

• Strong experience as a Project Manager/Delivery Lead in the Banking domain.
• Extensive knowledge of Payments including:
• SWIFT
• RTGS
• NEFT
• IMPS
• UPI
• Domestic & Cross-border Payments
• Payment Processing Systems
• Experience managing large-scale digital transformation or payment modernization programs.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience working with Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid delivery methodologies.
• Risk, issue, and dependency management expertise.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Finance, or related field.
• PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, Scrum, or equivalent project management certification.
• Prior experience working with leading banks or financial institutions.
