What this job involves:
This role delivers comprehensive oversight and stewardship across a suite of low-to-mid complexity projects and initiatives, predominantly related to signage upkeep and construction. As a Project Manager, Signage, you will function as subject matter expert in delivering corporate signage for GREF's WD&C projects in APAC. This responsibility involves coordinating with the different stakeholders participating in the projects and managing signage vendors for the timely delivery of the signage orders. This position combines wayfinding strategy development with construction project management, requiring you to engage proactively with Workplace Design &Construction (WD&C) teams to manage project timelines and budgets for the accurate programming of signage according to global signage standards and signage conditions within the APAC portfolio, directly contributing to JLL's mission of delivering exceptional signage solutions that support our clients operational excellence.
What your day-to-day will look like:
- Manage the lifecycle of signage across APAC portfolio while developing, communicating and monitoring wayfinding strategies for WD&C projects
- Uphold signage standards and process for signage construction project management during New Builds and REP projects through third-party vendor management
- Undertake risk evaluation for New Builds and REP projects while tackling escalations efficiently to ensure business continuity with travel as needed for critical projects
- Collaborate closely with diverse range of stakeholders, delivering signage solutions as either lead project manager or key stakeholder from design through installation
- Develop Process and Standard Operating Procedures for signage program management while presenting updates on maintenance, construction, and projects
- Coordinate vendor and team meetings to assure optimal service delivery while managing budgeting, financial reporting, and annual reporting
- Provide technical expertise and impart training to colleagues while supervising assignments of junior staff members and signage installers.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from an accredited 4-year college or university with at least four years of experience in related field
- Previous experience in design and construction management roles with exceptional written and oral communication skills
- Robust organizational and analytical capabilities with proficient understanding of financial concepts and principles
- Advanced problem-solving and data interpretation skills with demonstrated proficiency in project management, negotiation, and decision-making
- Proven ability to cultivate and maintain productive professional/client relationships with stakeholders across APAC region
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, including project management software such as MS Project, Asana and Smartsheet with ability to manage complex signage construction projects
- Experience managing vendor relationships and coordinating cross-functional teams for optimal service delivery.
Preferred Qualifications:
- PgMP (Program Management Professional) or PMP (Project Management Professional) certifications
- Experience with project management in construction or facilities management
- Background in design, branding or construction roles
- Knowledge or understanding of APAC-specific code signage requirements to meet with site's local legislation
- Experience with budget management and financial reporting
- Familiarity with vendor procurement and management, including budgeting and invoicing.
