Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Scrum Master Responsibilities

  • Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
  • Ensure the team follows Agile/Scrum principles, practices, and values.
  • Remove impediments and shield the team from external distractions.
  • Coach teams on Agile best practices and continuous improvement.
  • Drive sprint planning, backlog refinement, and capacity planning.
  • Monitor sprint progress and ensure timely delivery of sprint commitments.
  • Track and report Agile metrics such as velocity, burndown charts, and sprint health.

Project Management Responsibilities

  • Plan, execute, and deliver projects within scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Define project scope, timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Develop and maintain project plans and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Manage dependencies across teams and ensure alignment with business goals.
  • Drive release planning and program-level coordination where applicable.
  • Ensure quality and process compliance throughout the project lifecycle.

Stakeholder & Team Management

  • Act as the primary liaison between development teams, business stakeholders, and leadership.
  • Provide regular project status updates to senior management.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and address concerns proactively.
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration.
  • Lead and mentor teams to foster accountability and high performance.
  • Drive conflict resolution and decision-making discussions.

Reporting & Governance

  • Prepare and present:
  • Project status reports
  • Sprint progress reports
  • Release reports
  • Risk and issue logs
  • Track KPIs and delivery metrics.
  • Hands on experience with JIRA tool
  • Ensure transparency through dashboards and reporting tools (JIRA, Confluence, etc.).

Required Qualifications

  • 10–12 years of overall IT/Engineering experience.
  • 4–5 years of recent hands-on experience as a Scrum Master.
  • Strong understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, etc.).
  • Proven experience managing medium to large-scale projects.
  • Experience in stakeholder management and executive reporting.
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills.

Certifications

  • CSM (Certified Scrum Master) OR
  • SAFe / Scaled Agile Certification OR
  • Equivalent Scrum/Agile certification

Good to Have

  • Experience in the Automotive Industry (ADAS, Embedded Systems, EV, Manufacturing, etc.).
  • Experience working in Scaled Agile environments.
  • PMP certification.
  • Experience with distributed/global teams.
