Project Manager SAP Manufacturing

Key Activities

• Create project plans including objectives, deliverables, time plan, budget organization.
• Build effective project team structures and recruit /assign project staff.
• Identify, manage, and mitigate project risks and issues.
• Deliver on time, within budget and with quality, ensuring architectural, security and compliance guidelines are followe'd.
• Guide, steer and motivate project team members.
• Define project objectives, deliverables, roles, planning and budget to successfully deliver projects.
• Ensure compliance with respect to IT project methods, approaches, and project reporting.
• Monitor project progress, track expenses, and ensure projects remain within budget.
• Provide regular project status updates and reports to IT Delivery Management and key stakeholders in business in respective steercos.
• Work with stakeholders from support organization to ensure successful handover to support post go live.
• Work with architecture to ensure that standards are implemented consistently in projects.
• Promotes best practice methods, approaches, and practices for project management.
• Organizing post project reviews contribute to improving project management capability.

Experience

• A proven track record of successful IT project delivery
• Project Management certification is a plus
• 5 years of experience in project management roles
• 2 years of experience in manufacturing and production planning projects SAP modules PP / QM / MM/ PM as SAP consultant or SAP project manager
• 2 years of experience with integration platforms as engineer or project manager
• bachelors or masters degree in business management, computer science, computer engineering or related field study
• In manufacturing there is a constant data exchange between SAP and the IOT production units. Therefore, some experience with infrastructure and the terminology used is required e.g: Firewalls, switches, routers, access point and cabling. In-depth infrastructure knowledge is not needed but the basics is required to steer deliverables as a proactive counterpart in meetings and other project conversations.
