JOB DESCRIPTION
JOB TITLE: SAP PM Project Manager (Offshore)
Experience Required: 8 - 12 years
Location Hyderabad/ Pune/ Hybrid
Shift timings: EST (5PM 2AM IST)
Role Overview
Responsible for the day-to-day management and execution of the offshore delivery team, focusing on detailed project planning, tracking deliverables, managing resources, and ensuring quality and timely delivery of all offshore work packages.
Key Accountabilities
- Develop and maintain the detailed offshore project plan and work breakdown structure (WBS) in alignment with the Program Director's master plan.
- Manage offshore workstream leads (Functional, Technical, Integration) and track their progress against defined sprints and milestones.
- Facilitate daily scrums, status meetings, and detailed planning sessions for the offshore team.
- Ensure effective coordination, knowledge transfer, and hand-offs between the offshore and onshore teams.
- Manage resource allocation, utilization, and detailed progress reporting for the offshore delivery center.
Experience & Background
- 8+ years as a Project Manager/Delivery Lead, with significant experience managing large offshore SAP delivery teams.
- Proven expertise in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, SolMan).
- Experience managing projects utilizing the SAP Activate methodology.
Core Competencies
- Strong leadership and organizational skills for remote team management.
- Expertise in project tracking, status reporting, and risk mitigation.
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating global teams and reporting to the Onsite PM/Program Director.
Preferred Competencies
- Certified Scrum Master or other Agile certification.
- Knowledge of DevOps principles in an SAP environment.
