Job Title: Project Manager Roads and Infra
Location: Nigeria
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Project Manager to lead and manage the planning, execution, and delivery of roadworks and infrastructure projects in Nigeria. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of civil engineering, strong leadership skills, and the ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and on budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the planning and execution of road construction and infrastructure projects from inception to completion
- Ensure compliance with technical specifications, quality standards, safety regulations, and environmental requirements
- Coordinate with engineers, consultants, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution
- Prepare project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation plans
- Monitor progress and performance; resolve issues and implement corrective actions as needed
- Lead project meetings, status updates, and reporting to senior management
- Manage contracts, change orders, and procurement processes
- Ensure proper documentation and close-out procedures
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Master's is a plus
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in road and infrastructure project management
- Proven experience in managing large-scale infrastructure projects
- Strong understanding of roadworks, drainage systems, utilities coordination, and site logistics
- Proficient in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera), AutoCAD, and Civil 3D
- Familiar with international standards and codes related to civil works and solar farm construction
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage multi-cultural teams
