Role Summary
Looking for a Technical Project Manager for Data Platform and Global Operations team. This person will own end-to-end program management across a portfolio of concurrent enterprise data initiatives. The ideal candidate can walk into ambiguous, technically complex programs, structure them into a governed delivery cadence, and communicate status, risk, and decisions crisply to executive stakeholders
What You'll Own
- Manage a portfolio of 2–3 concurrent enterprise data programs simultaneously (e.g., data catalog / discovery / marketplace platforms, cataloging tool migrations, data observability rollouts, third-party data/connector).
- Drive programs through their full lifecycle: scoping, PI planning, execution tracking, risk/issue management, and closure.
- Own and maintain RAID logs, RAIDD (risks, assumptions, issues, dependencies, decisions) tracking, and RYG (red/yellow/green) status reporting across all active programs.
- Run and prepare materials for Steering Committee (Steerco) cadences, delivering leadership-ready updates to senior stakeholders and executive sponsors.
- Partner with engineering, data governance, security, and vendor/partner teams to unblock delivery — including navigating auth, security, and integration blockers on vendor-connector migrations.
- Translate technical complexity into plain-English narratives for non-technical executive audiences.
- Produce polished, low-iteration deliverables: status decks, Confluence documentation, Word-based Project briefs, and structured Slack updates for weekly leadership reporting.
- Operate independently in a fast-paced, matrixed organization with minimal day-to-day oversight.
What We're Looking For
- 10+ years of experience in Project Management, with a track record spanning enterprise SaaS delivery, data governance, or Master Data Management (MDM) programs.
- Demonstrated ownership of multiple concurrent, cross-functional programs at once, ideally in a data platform, data engineering, or enterprise systems environment.
- Fluency with Agile/SAFe Project delivery — PI planning, RAID/RAIDD management, and Steerco-level executive reporting; SAFe certification strongly preferred.
- Strong written and verbal executive communication skills, able to produce clean, leadership-ready documentation with minimal back-and-forth.
- Comfort operating in technically complex environments (data cataloging, observability, connector/integration migrations) without requiring a software development background.
- Experience in managing vendor or third-party platform relationships and migrations (e.g., cataloging tools, observability platforms, connector-based integrations).
Nice to Have
- Prior experience in Data Management / Data Quality delivery. Background in large enterprise environments with global, cross-functional stakeholder bases.
- Experience with data management tooling (e.g., Informatica, Snowflake) or data observability platforms (e.g., Monte Carlo, Ataccama).
