Project Manager with Scrum Master - Job Description
A Project Manager with Scrum Master skills leads end-to-end project delivery while driving Agile workflows. He should manage project constraints (budget, scope, schedule) and mentor teams through Scrum practices (stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives), remove blockers, and foster team self-organization. Should have good understanding on Data & AI technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Delivery: Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
- Sprint Facilitation: Lead Agile ceremonies including Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Backlog Grooming, and Retrospectives.
- Impediment Removal: Proactively identify and resolve blockers that impede team progress; protect developers from external distractions.
- Resource & Budget Management: Manage project timelines, estimate resources, and maintain budget tracking and forecasting.
- Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary bridge between the cross-functional team and external stakeholders to report on project velocity, risks, and KPIs.
- Team Coaching: Mentor team members on Agile principles, continuous improvement, and self-organization.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of combined experience as a Project Manager, Scrum Master, or Agile Coach.
- Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), or Project Management Professional (PMP) highly preferred.
- Strong proficiency in Agile and project management software (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Trello, or MS Project).
- Exceptional conflict resolution, servant leadership, and communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills
- Experience managing AI programmes
- Understanding of Data & AI technical skills
- Experience in regulated environments (Pharma/Healthcare) is a plus
