Job Description :

Radiant is seeking a skilled road engineer to associate with its roads and bridge engineering team in Kolkata. The ideal candidate should have work experience in geometric and pavement design for the preparation of DPR for PMGSY projects. Knowledge in road construction, maintenance and project management will get preference.

Key Responsibilities :

• Conduct site inspection to ensure adherence to all related standards and specifications.
• Site reconnaissance and identify the need for the project vis-a-vis possible preliminary proposals to suit the site conditions.
• Checking of survey data and design of road alignment/profile and cross sections using the latest software.
• Analysis of traffic survey data.
• Design of pavement.
• Analysis of rates & preparation of BOQ & cost estimates.
• Preparation of utility shifting drawings and related estimates.
• Assist in the preparation of land acquisition drawings and estimates.
• Coordination with client, contractor and concerned authorities & stakeholders to ensure successful delivery and completion of the project.
• Assist in the preparation of various reports/documents like inception report, feasibility report, DPR, etc., as per the TOR requirement.
• Ensure delivery of reports/drawings as per the requirements of the project.
• The candidate shall be ready to move to the site, i.e. Assam, Andaman, Mizoram, on an urgent basis and willing to work staying at outstation as per the interest of the project and the company as well.

Key Qualifications :

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or other related field.
• Sound knowledge of the latest codes of IRC
• Proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD, Inroads, Civil-3D or similar tools.
• Excellent project management and organisational skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
