Job Description (JD) – IT Project Manager
A Digital IT Project Manager is responsible for leading end-to-end digital transformation, application development, infrastructure, cloud, and business technology projects using Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid delivery methodologies. The role focuses on delivering projects within scope, schedule, budget, and quality expectations while ensuring alignment with business objectives and stakeholder requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Digital IT projects from initiation through closure using Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid frameworks.
- Define project scope, objectives, timelines, budgets, and resource plans.
- Collaborate with business, technology, vendors, and cross-functional teams.
- Facilitate Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Reviews, Retrospectives, and stage-gate reviews.
- Monitor project progress, risks, issues, dependencies, and mitigation plans.
- Ensure quality deliverables through governance, testing, compliance, and change management.
- Manage stakeholder communications, project reporting, and executive status updates.
- Drive continuous improvement, process optimization, and successful project adoption.
Role & Responsibilities (8 Points)
- Gather and translate business requirements into actionable project plans and deliverables.
- Establish project governance, KPIs, milestones, and success criteria.
- Manage project schedules, budgets, forecasts, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate development, infrastructure, security, testing, and support teams.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks while resolving issues proactively.
- Ensure Agile ceremonies or Waterfall lifecycle activities are executed effectively.
- Provide regular project dashboards, metrics, and leadership presentations.
- Drive customer satisfaction, business value realization, and successful project outcomes.
