Project Manager Public Cloud

Role Overview

Ensono is seeking an experienced Public Cloud Project Manager to support continued growth within our Global Public Cloud Consulting practice. This role focuses on delivering largescale data center to cloud migration and cloud transformation programs for enterprise clients.

As an experienced Project Manager, you will lead a variety of public cloud engagements across multiple verticals, geographies (mainly US and UK), and of varying complexity. You will partner closely with clients and internal stakeholders — including Sales, Solution Architects, and technical delivery teams—to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in alignment with contractual commitments and client expectations.

The ideal candidate has handson experience managing enterprise level migrations from onpremises data centers to cloud, including planning, dependency management, migration waves, cutover execution, and operational handoff, while minimizing business risk and disruption.

This role offers strong visibility, influence, and longterm growth opportunities within Ensono's US, UK, and global delivery organization.

Key Responsibilities


PreSales & Project Initiation

• Run internal and client kick off meetings, ensuring the project is setup for success
• Maintain accurateproject, contract, and commercial documentation
• Provide project management expertise during presales for solutions acrosspublic cloud (Azure/AWS)
• Use historical project data to improve estimates and delivery outcomes
  
  

Planning & Estimation

• Developproject plans, schedules, and effort estimatesfor multiphase, moderately complex engagements
• Define project scope, deliverables, governance models, and approval processes
• Partner with resource managers to ensureappropriate staffing and skill alignment
• Mentor team members on planning, estimation, and scheduling best practices
  
  

Execution & Delivery

• Managemultiple concurrent client engagementswith crossfunctional delivery teams
• Leadendtoend data center to Azure/AWS migration programs, including discovery, dependency mapping, migration waves, cutover planning, and transition to operations
• Oversee migration ofapplications, infrastructure, and platformsfrom onpremises environments to Azure/AWS
• Coordinate closely withcloud solution architects, engineering, security, and operations teams
• Ensure delivery aligns withcommercial agreements, governance standards, and Ensono delivery methodologies
  
  

Monitoring, Risk & Issue Management

• Proactively managerisks, issues, dependencies, and scope changes
• Apply structured risk mitigation strategies and escalation processes
• Provide clear, consistentstatus reporting and executivelevel communications
• Drive risks and issues through to resolution
  
  

Financial & Schedule Management

• Manageproject budgets, forecasts, and delivery timelines
• Track financial performance, variances, and margin
• Obtain approvals for scope or budget changes as needed
• Analyze trends across multiple projects and provide insights to leadership
• Consistently meetdelivery, profitability, and margin objectives
  
  

Scope & Change Control

• Maintain control of project scope and resolve competing requirements
• Ensure all changes follow formalchange management processes
• Align stakeholders on priorities, decisions, and delivery expectations
  
  

Project Closure & Continuous Improvement

• Ensure allproject closeout and transition activitiesare completed and documented
• Identify opportunities to improve delivery processes, tools, and reporting
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the PMO and delivery organization
  
  

Experience & Qualifications

• 6+ yearsof project management experience (enterprise or consulting environment preferred)
• Relevant industry recognized Project Manager accreditations
• Proven experience managinglargescale data center to Azure and/or AWS migration programs
• Strong understanding ofcloud migration strategies(rehost, replatform, refactor) in Azure and AWS environments
• Experience delivering cloud migrations and client onboarding withinmanaged services, infrastructure, or cloud consulting
• Demonstrated strength inrisk management, financial control, stakeholder management, and executive communication
• Recognized expertise in project governance, estimation, and delivery execution
