Job Description: Manager Projects, Services & Spares
Location: Khed Shivapur

Education: B.E./B.Tech Mechanical Engineering
Key Responsibilities
1. Project & Service Operations
- Lead and manage project execution from planning to delivery ensuring timelines, budget, and quality standards.
- Oversee service operations including diagnostics, repairs, upgrades, refurbishments, and spare parts availability.
- Manage documentation, customer contracts, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
- Optimize machine build processes with robust process controls and performance metrics.
- Ensure effective procurement, inventory control, vendor management, and logistics.
2. Team Leadership & Development
- Lead, mentor, and develop project, service, and spares teams.
- Build technical excellence and foster a culture of collaboration and accountability.
- Support onboarding, skills development, succession planning, and performance improvement.
3. Process Excellence & Compliance
- Ensure adherence to SOPs, company policies, ISO 9001:2015 standards, and audit requirements.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, quality, and operational efficiency.
- Implement best practices and drive operational excellence across all functions.
4. Communication & Cross-functional Coordination
- Drive transparent communication through reporting tools, dashboards, and review meetings.
- Lead cross-functional reviews with sales, supply chain, assembly, and design teams.
- Coordinate on project plans, resource allocation, and issue resolution.
5. Resource & Budget Management
- Plan and allocate manpower and resources effectively.
- Monitor timelines, budgets, and performance metrics.
- Forecast resource requirements to avoid bottlenecks.
6. Customer & Business Support
- Ensure customer satisfaction through timely service delivery and quality.
- Support sales in identifying new business opportunities.
- Supervise customer site installations when required.
7. IT & Project Management Tools
- Strong working knowledge of MS Project, ERP systems, and project management tools.
Mandatory Skills & Competencies
- Strong leadership capabilities with experience managing technical teams.
- Proven experience in project management and service operations within capital equipment/manufacturing.
- Strong understanding of machining, assembly, manufacturing workflows, cycle time, and quality standards.
- Excellent communication (written & verbal), stakeholder management, and customer-facing skills.
- High ethical standards, accountability, and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in MS Office and project management software (PMP certification is an added advantage).
