The opportunity : Project Manager-National-PAS WKFA-CNS-PC-Talent - Mumbai

Fixed term contract : 6 months

Role Overview

The Senior Agile Scrum Master is accountable for driving disciplined Agile delivery across high-velocity, rapidly evolving product teams. The role requires deep Scrum expertise, exceptional adaptability, and the ability to lead teams through continuous change, shifting priorities, and fast-paced execution cycles. This position ensures predictable sprint outcomes, strong engineering collaboration, and seamless alignment between business needs and technology delivery across multiple HR, AI, workflow, and integration platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Scrum Leadership & High-Velocity Team Execution
  • Lead 13 Scrum teams through rapid sprint cycles with strong focus on throughput, predictability, and quality.
  • Own all Scrum ceremonies: sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, sprint review, retrospectives.
  • Maintain sprint discipline even in environments with dynamic requirements, evolving priorities, and frequent scope adjustments.
  • Strengthen team resilience to change and embed an iterative, outcome-focused mindset.
  • Enforce DoR, DoD, test coverage, and acceptance criteria to ensure shippable increments every sprint.
  • Ability to Deliver in a Fast, Dynamic, Constantly Changing Environment
  • Provide stability and clarity in fast-evolving workstreams with multiple stakeholders, dependencies, and parallel initiatives.
  • Quickly realign teams when requirements shift, ensuring minimal disruption to commitments.
  • Manage changing backlogs and re-prioritizations with transparency, calmness, and strong communication.
  • Foster psychological safety while pushing for speed, accountability, and near real-time decision cycles.
  • Maintain high team morale during change, ambiguity, and accelerated delivery.
  • Jira & Azure DevOps Mastery (Mandatory)
  • Build and manage Scrum boards, workflows, epics, features, user stories, tasks, bugs, and test cases.
  • Configure dashboards for leadership visibility (velocity, cycle time, throughput, flow load, blockers).
  • Use Azure DevOps for traceability, pipelines, sprint analytics, and engineering-release visibility.
  • Support automation of workflows, gates, CI/CD triggers, and sprint-based delivery metrics.
  • Cross-Team Alignment, Integration & Release Readiness
  • Coordinate dependencies across platform teams (HRIS, AI/ML, data, workflows, integrations).
  • Manage sprint goals, release pipelines, and increments across multi-vendor and distributed teams.
  • Maintain RAID logs, cross-team blockers, and leadership escalations with high predictability.
  • Ensure every sprint produces meaningful increments aligned to business outcomes and release plans.
  • Agile Coaching, Ways of Working & Continuous Improvement
  • Coach teams on scrum, lean delivery, backlog hygiene, estimation, and continuous improvement.
  • Drive adoption of flow-based metrics and data-driven sprint health assessments.
  • Build maturity in responding to constant change through structured agility, not chaos.
  • Facilitate retrospectives focused on bottleneck removal and faster, cleaner delivery cycles.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 812+ years of overall experience with 46+ years as a dedicated Scrum Master.
  • Hands-on experience with both Jira and Azure DevOps (must-have).
  • Proven track record in fast-paced, dynamic, fluid environments with rapidly evolving priorities.
  • Expertise in Scrum, Kanban, lean delivery, and multi-team coordination.
  • Strong understanding of SDLC, API/microservices, QA, CI/CD, and DevOps practices.
  • Excellent facilitation, communication, stakeholder management, and servant leadership skills.
  • Certifications preferred: CSM, PSM, PMI-ACP, SAFe Scrum Master, SAFe RTE.

Nice-to-Have

  • Experience working with HR Tech, AI/ML, workflow engines (Camunda), or cloud-based platforms.
  • Familiarity with large-scale transformations, multi-BU delivery, or enterprise program governance.
  • Exposure to rapid MVP-based delivery models (bi-weekly, monthly increments).
