Project manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage end-to-end project lifecycle — from initiation and planning to execution and closure.
• Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and resource requirements.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and status reports.
• Coordinate across departments to ensure proper execution of tasks and timely delivery.
• Identify project risks and issues and develop mitigation strategies.
• Communicate project progress, status, and escalations to stakeholders and leadership.
• Manage changes to project scope, timelines, and costs using appropriate change control processes.
• Ensure projects meet quality standards, business requirements, and stakeholder expectations.
• Facilitate Agile/Scrum ceremonies (if applicable): stand-ups, retrospectives, sprint planning.
• Manage vendor or third-party relationships if needed for project execution.

Mandatory Skills:

• Proven experience managing projects using Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall methodologies.
• Proficient in project management tools: JIRA, MS Project, Asana, Trello, or Smartsheet.
• Strong stakeholder and team management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Experience with risk management, budget tracking, and timeline management.

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have):

• Certifications: PMP, Scrum Master (CSM/PSM), or PRINCE2.
• Familiarity with SDLC, DevOps, or Cloud project environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Experience in data, software, or infrastructure project environments.
• Knowledge of resource allocation and cost-benefit analysis.
