Project Manager Merchandising Operations (Marketplace)

Role Overview

We are looking for a Project Manager Merchandising Operations to drive the execution of merchandising initiatives for the marketplace business. This role will coordinate between business stakeholders, merchandising teams, and external partners to ensure timely creation, quality, and delivery of product page assets.

The role will focus on managing end-to-end asset production workflows including product images, content, templates, and merchandising elements while ensuring alignment with standardized guidelines and brand standards.

Key Responsibilities

Project & Workflow Management

Manage the end-to-end workflow for merchandising asset creation for marketplace products.

Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure timely delivery of assets.

Track project timelines, deliverables, and dependencies across teams.

Ensure all tasks are executed as per defined priorities and schedules.

Stakeholder Coordination

Act as the central point of contact between marketplace stakeholders, agency, catalogue and the merchandising team.

Gather requirements related to product page assets including images, content, and merchandising elements.

Translate business requirements into clear briefs for agency project manager, creative and content teams.

Ensure alignment between marketplace business needs and merchandising standards.

Asset Production Management

Manage creation and delivery of:

Product images and visual assets

Feature and contextual images

Product descriptions and A+ content

Installation or product videos (where applicable)

Templates and merchandising creatives

Ensure all assets follow defined guidelines and templates.

Process Standardization

Help establish standard templates and asset guidelines to ensure consistency across marketplace listings.

Reduce duplication of work by creating reusable asset frameworks.

Document processes and best practices for asset creation and management.

Tracking & Reporting

Maintain project trackers and progress dashboards.

Monitor asset production timelines and identify delays.

Provide regular updates to stakeholders on project progress and deliverables.

Quality & Compliance

Ensure all assets meet defined merchandising and brand standards.

Work closely with QA teams to ensure accuracy and completeness before publishing.

Maintain consistency in product presentation across listings.

Skills & Experience

47 years of experience in e-commerceproject management , e-commerce operations, or merchandising operations

Strong stakeholder management and coordination skills

Experience managing creative/content production workflows

Strong organizational and planning capabilities

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Good analytical and reporting skills
