Role Description The Project Manager (MEP) is a full-time, on-site role based in New Delhi, responsible for leading and coordinating Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing works across complex construction projects. The role involves planning and managing MEP project schedules, tracking progress, and ensuring alignment with overall project timelines and budgets. Daily tasks include supervising contractors, coordinating with design and engineering teams, overseeing inspections, and resolving technical and site-related issues. The Project Manager (MEP) will collaborate with procurement and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment, monitor quality and safety standards, and prepare regular progress reports and documentation for stakeholders. This role also requires proactive risk management, client communication, and continuous optimization of processes to support responsible, efficient project execution.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong project management skills, including experience in planning, scheduling, cost control, and stakeholder coordination.
- Candidates should possess expeditor and expediting capabilities to monitor procurement activities, follow up with vendors, and ensure on-time delivery of MEP materials and equipment.
- Candidates should possess inspection experience, including conducting site inspections, verifying work against drawings and specifications, and ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards.
- Candidates should possess logistics management skills to coordinate material movement, manage site deliveries, and support efficient resource utilization.
- Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering (or related discipline) with 8–15+ years of relevant MEP project management experience in construction or infrastructure.
- Proficiency in project management and MEP-related software (such as MS Project/Primavera, AutoCAD/Revit) and strong understanding of codes, standards, and best practices.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and team leadership abilities, with a focus on collaboration and problem-solving in fast-paced project environments.
- Proven experience managing on-site project teams, contractors, and consultants in large or complex projects in an urban environment.
