Job Description

Job Summary

A Project Manager Mechanical to lead the successful delivery of construction and mechanical projects from mobilization through mechanical completion and final handover. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, execution, cost and schedule control, stakeholder coordination, and ensuring compliance with quality, safety, health, security, and environmental requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end project execution including mobilization, construction, commissioning support, and final handover to ensure timely and quality delivery
  • Plan, monitor, and control project scope, schedule, budget, quality, and HSSE performance to meet project objectives
  • Coordinate and lead multidisciplinary teams including Piping, Mechanical, Structural, Civil, E&I, QA/QC, and HSSE personnel to optimize project outcomes
  • Develop construction methodologies, resource plans, schedules, and execution strategies to drive efficient project progress
  • Liaise with clients, consultants, vendors, and subcontractors to align project goals and resolve issues promptly
  • Monitor project costs, cash flow, productivity, and progress implement corrective actions to maintain financial and schedule targets
  • Review and approve method statements, risk assessments, lifting plans, and work sequences to ensure compliance and safety
  • Manage project risks, variations, claims, and change orders collaboratively with commercial teams to minimize impact
  • Chair progress meetings and deliver timely reports to stakeholders to maintain transparency and alignment
  • Oversee mechanical completion, punch list closure, and final project close-out to ensure project readiness and client satisfaction

Required competencies and certifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline
  • Minimum 5 years of experience managing construction projects with demonstrated delivery of multidisciplinary industrial or infrastructure projects
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, contract administration, and HSSE requirements
  • Proven leadership, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
